Transportation Unit
The Transportation Unit's daily duties include the delivery of summons to youth and families in order to officially notify all parties of a pending court date. Last year, we delivered over 8,000 summonses to the youth and families of Montgomery County. The Transportation Unit is also responsible for transporting youth to and from various appointments while the youth is in secure custody. For instance, youth are transported for medical appointments, assessments, and so on. We pride ourselves in ensuring that all youth are transported in a safe and expeditious manner.
