Reclaiming Futures’ “Call To Action”
Targets West Carrollton, Moraine and Miami Township

Of the 8,622 youth referrals to Montgomery County Juvenile Court by law enforcement agencies in 2005, nearly 12 percent were from agencies in West Carrollton, Miami Township and Moraine.  That’s why Montgomery County Juvenile Court Administrative Judge Nick Kuntz and Drug Court Judge Anthony Capizzi appealed to more than 50 community and faith leaders from those communities on October 3, 2006, asking for their support of and participation in Reclaiming Futures, an initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to help kids caught in the cycle of drugs, alcohol and crime.  Also speaking were West Carrollton School Superintendent Rusty Clifford and Pastor Arthur McGuire, Sr. of Joshua Christian Ministries.
