Teams Get the Job Done!
Cross-training has resulted in the development of teams covering all functions of the Clerk’s Office. All full-time Deputy Clerks are cross-trained to cover at least two different functions within the Clerks Office.

Clerks participate in Juvenile Court’s “Bridges Out of Poverty” pilot program:
Two Deputy Clerks and the Chief Deputy Clerk are currently serving on the Advisory Committee and Bridges’ Core Team locally.   As training is being developed for and given to all court staff, we are also bringing forth new ideas in which we can better serve our own staff and community, especially during these hard economic times. 

Ohio Supreme Court Highlights:

• Best Practices and Procedures for Ohio Clerks
• Traffic / BMV Procedures
• Diffusing Difficult Client Situations
• Annual Juvenile Clerks Conference
• Staff participating on local and state committees for development of Desktop Guide for Clerks, Clerk’s Education and Training, and Dependency, Neglect, Abuse CaseFlow
• Our Chief Deputy Clerk has national certification as a court manager (CMP National Certification for Court Managers ) and has been appointed to the Supreme Court of Ohio Advisory Committee on Children, Families and the Courts since 2007.
